Communications in Alice Springs, questions people ask
Who does communications in Alice Springs?
No local communications business is listed on the Hub yet. Until one is, the points on this page say what a good local operator looks like and what to ask before you book. If you run a communications business in Alice Springs, you can list it free.
How do I get internet or phone on a property with no mobile coverage?
Satellite is the usual answer where mobile coverage drops out, and UHF radio is still essential on stations and remote sites. Ask a business which option suits your site, and what its real limits are.
Who can do data cabling for a business in town?
Structured data cabling should be done by a registered cabler. Ask to see that the person doing the work is registered for it.
How does a communications business get listed on the Hub?
Fill in the List your business form. It is free, nothing goes live until a person has reviewed it and spoken to you, and no business is listed without its owner's consent.

Why this trade matters here
Reliable connectivity outside town is a genuine, recurring problem here, mobile coverage drops out fast once you leave the highway. A communications operator who treats satellite and radio as core business, not a niche add-on, has real demand waiting.
